The department handles a lot of legal aid and fixed fee work but there are always costs to prepare and disputes and points of reply to prepare for, so you should be entirely comfortable submitting bills and negotiating regarding costs.

Family Law is one of the firm priorities and there are a number of resolution members in the team which means a lot of mediation work comes into the firm.
