Technical Adviser
Salary c£44,000 plus benefits inc. health insurance, pension and death in service

This is an opportunity to take your expertise in the law and apply it to improving the quality of proportionate regulation that supports innovation and the development of thriving legal businesses. You’ll be working with teams across the CLC on all aspects of regulation. 

We're looking for people who

•    Have a recognised legal qualification and experience of providing recent legal advice in conveyancing;
•    Have the ability to acquire knowledge which is required to operate effectively in the role including:

1. Ability to develop a good understanding of the CLC’s regulatory framework including the Code of Conduct and all relevant supporting documents;
2.  An ability to develop specialist knowledge of the legal disciplines regulated by the CLC.

•    Can support and challenge internal colleagues, with self confidence and a commitment to helping others meet shared goals;
•    Have the ability to analyze and evaluate large volumes of information and interpret complex legal information, to identify key issues, make balanced judgments and take appropriate action.

Please note this vacancy is located in Chelmsford, Essex, however the CLC is currently considering a possible relocation to the City of London within the next 12 months, although no firm decisions on the location of the CLC offices have been made.
