                     LAW SOCIETY COMMITTEE MEMBER VACANCIES

The Law Society of England and Wales is the independent professional body, established for solicitors in 1825, that works globally to support and represent its 166,000 members, promoting the highest professional standards and the rule of law.

 

The Law Society is run by its Council. Boards of the Council are supported by committees which help make and implement policy on particular areas of law.

The Law Society is looking for exceptional solicitors to become committee members.  If you would like to apply for any of the vacancies below, we'd love to hear from you! 

The following committees currently have vacancies:

TLS Committee Vacancies

You will join a talented team to oversee important decisions about the Law Society's policy on matters of legal policy that directly affect our members and the public. You will help to guide a committed workforce of over 300 people who love their jobs and the difference they are making to supporting solicitors.

We need your skills, experience, connections, enthusiasm and knowledge of your particular area of law. In exchange, you will gain real policy making experience and receive training and personal development opportunities, while knowing your input has made a real difference to solicitors in England and Wales. Travel and subsistence expenses and an annual incidental expenses allowance of £626.00 are paid.

The closing date for return of applications for these vacancies is 17:00 on Thursday 19th March 2015. Interviews will take place between 20 and 30 April 2015.
