Job Details

The Role
The successful candidate will ensure that cases are being handled correctly to an acceptable standard, to prevent the firm being exposed to any risks and that all external and internal procedures relating to litigation case handling are followed at all times, by conducting audits on litigated cases and reporting on your findings and offering recommendations and solutions where appropriate.

The Candidate
In order to be considered for this role you must:
Have extensive knowledge of the Litigation process to be able to effectively review litigated cases and to manage your role
Have a sound knowledge of recent case law
Be able to identify performance issues with the staff that you come into contact with and report back to their line managers as well as the Head of Audit & Compliance.
Competently be able to review and to extract the necessary information from MI reports and other data provided to assist in conducting you audits.
Be able to operate the firms Case Management System
Demonstrate experience in identifying all investigatory resources to assess the merits of a claim both in terms of liability and quantum
¿Be confident in assessing prospects of success on a claim
