About the role
 
The Insurance Team is part of the Audit & Risk Management business unit in Haringey Council and we now want to recruit an Insurance Paralegal Officer to help the service to develop.
 
Reporting to the Risk and Insurance Manager, you will work closely with all Council services and will be responsible for developing and promoting effective insurance and risk management policies and processes including management of MOJ Portal. 

You will be working in a fast-paced environment progressing cases, under supervision, to an effective and satisfactory conclusion, settling or assisting settlement of cases, and analysing risk in order to support improvements within the team and across the Council. 

About you

We want to hear from you if you have a solid paralegal background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with relevant experience managing your own caseload including litigated cases and experience handling Motor, Employer and Public Liability claims.
