We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Legal Assessor to support the RICS Conduct and Appeals Committee by giving legal advice on all aspects of public and regulatory law during Disciplinary, Appeal and Registration Panels.

Ideally, applicants will:

  • Be a solicitor or barrister 
  • Have some public law/regulatory knowledge and experience
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have an enthusiasm for Regulation

A daily fee paid of £750 plus reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling the duties of the role will be reimbursed in accordance with RICS Expenses Policy. 

The position is based in London, attending RICS Parliament Square with the occasional travel to the RICS Coventry office or other external venues.  You will be required for approximately 8-10 days per year, which is variable based on demand.
