Leigh Day is a specialist claimant and trade union law firm with some of the country's leading employment and discrimination, personal injury, product liability, clinical negligence, international and human rights teams. We act exclusively for claimants who've been injured or treated unlawfully by others. We are driven by our ethos of “Davids” fighting the “Goliaths” around the world.

Driven by our recent successes in Employment, large group claims, and as winners of the 2015 Employment Law team of the year, Leigh Day is urgently seeking to hire a passionate, 6 - 8 PQE / equivalent, employment lawyer, with demonstrable private practice experience. S/he will have considerable experience in Employment Tribunal and Civil claims and working with Trade Unions. S/he will have proven expertise in conduct of cases, from initial advice through to trial, and supervisory experience in managing qualified & non-qualified fee-earners. Experience of Employment Appeal Tribunal, Appeal Court, multi-party actions and civil litigation will be highly advantageous. Having a committed client following/base will be an added advantage.

This is a new role and provides the perfect opportunity for a first class lawyer, with exceptional legal skills and experience, in legal cases funded by a range of agreements, to join a nationally renowned law firm of outstanding calibre, recognised for many ground-breaking employment cases. The successful candidate will work directly with one of the Firm’s highly acclaimed, employment Partner, on a stimulating workload, including a varied and diverse range of individual, No Win No Fee, Trade Union, Insurance, Private and Group Claims.
