Assistant Solicitor – Personal Injury Department, Ref: AS/PI/SM/Oct15

Given our continuous growth, Leigh Day is now seeking to recruit 2 highly motivated, dynamic, personal injury lawyers with 4 – 6 years PQE within its highly acclaimed Personal Injury Department.  They will be working directly with the Partner and Head of the Department, who is described by Chambers and Partners 2015 as "a force to be reckoned with". This is a perfect opportunity for a first class personal injury lawyer, with exceptional legal skills to join a nationally renowned law firm of outstanding calibre, recognised for many ground-breaking cases.

The Personal Injury Department represents claimants who have suffered serious injury. Leading legal directories identify Leigh Day as one of the country's leading firms of claimant personal injury solicitors. For more information visit Personal Injury.

The work involved is highly challenging and will ideally suit a personal injury lawyer who has considerable experience in progressing RTA, multi-track, high value caseload. Whilst claimant RTA experience is a must, experience in cycling claims will be highly advantageous.  The role will involve analysing evidence, preparing court documents, interviewing witnesses, attending conferences, and a large degree of client contact. This is a busy role and a high standard of performance is expected, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients. The successful applicant will have good IT, research, and problem solving skills and will be an effective communicator.
