Job Details
Academic Knowledge are currently recruiting for law graduates who wish to take up the position of Freelance Academic Writer. We specialise in providing academic support to students and have been operating since 2003. Your main responsibilities will be to produce high quality academic work including; model answers, example essays, exam revision support, dissertation support, essay plans and marking and proofreading. As a freelancer you get to choose which projects you take on but all writers will need to be able to produce model answers at the least. The work that you write is used to help students who are having difficulties with their studies through our popular essay and dissertation writing services, all backed up by our industry leading fair use policy:

All applicants must possess a 2:1 undergraduate degree as a minimum; there are greater opportunities for applicants with further qualifications. As the ideal candidate you will be well versed in academic standards, have a full understanding of OSCOLA referencing and be able to consistently produce high quality academic work. You should be used to working to tight deadlines, be self-motivated and have the desire to work for yourself.
This position is ideal for current students, such as Masters or PhD students, qualified legal employees who are looking to take on extra work to supplement their income or legal professionals who are looking to work for themselves on a freelance basis. It will give successful applicants the ability to work from home with no long term commitments. There are opportunities for applicants who wish to do this part time or for ones who are looking at a career in full time freelance writing.
We are particularly interested in any candidates who have a good understanding of Construction law and Maritime law.
