Humberside Police are looking for a suitably qualified solicitor who has
particular experience of Litigation.

You will work as part of a team providing a comprehensive range of legal
advice and representation to the Chief Constable but in the main you will deal with civil orders in the Magistrates’ Court and the County Court, including Anti Social Behaviour Orders, Sexual Offences Prevention Orders, Proceeds of Crime Act applications and Domestic Violence Protection Orders. Accordingly you must demonstrate strong advocacy skills, and have the necessary flexibility to offer support in the handling of civil claims, judicial review, employment law,
and disclosure.

In addition you will have at least two year’s relevant PQE.
Due to the collaboration of South Yorkshire Police and Humberside Police, this post is based mainly at Priory Road, Hull, Humberside Police. However, you may be required to work at other locations throughout Humberside and on occasions in South Yorkshire Police.
