Commercial Solicitor – full time, Agenda for Change Band 7
The dynamic Commercial Law department of Legal & Risk Services requires a full-time solicitor or appropriately experience legal executive to assist with the increasing diverse caseload of commercial matters on the instruction of NHS Wales clients.
The successful candidate will have experience of working for or within a public sector organisation. The work covers a broad range of matters including procurement, service level agreements, external contracts, judicial review and debt recovery amongst many others. They will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the requirements of an in house service and demonstrate a proven track record of team working.

Newly Qualified Defendant General Advisory & Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor (Full-time)
We are an in-house team based in Cardiff providing healthcare advice and handling litigation for NHS Wales.
We are looking for an enthusiastic solicitor to assist and provide support to the NHS Continuing Healthcare team and also assist in the provision of general advice to Health Boards in Wales and the conduct of defendant clinical negligence litigation.
Ideally, you should have some experience in the following areas:
- continuing health care;
- defendant clinical negligence;
- NHS general advisory work.
This post will be a 3 year contract (with possible extension) subject to satisfactory completion of probationary period.
