From fraud and firearms to violence against women and girls – the CPS works on some of the UK’s most high-profile criminal cases. That’s why we’re looking for exceptional individuals to help us in delivering justice.
Join us as a Legal Manager and you’ll oversee an entire team of lawyers. You’ll be at the forefront of managing advocates across a cluster of magistrates’ courts, working with prosecutors to review and progress cases in the magistrates’ courts or in the Crown Court. Your expertise will guide a wide range of casework and your responsibilities will include appearing as an advocate in court. In addition, our casework covers some of the most serious, sensitive and complex work in the country – and you’ll ensure our team’s work remains at the front of the news.
To do it, you’ll need to be a talented lawyer who’s equally adept at leading a team. Managing a cluster of courts and advocates means working in partnership with a whole range of professionals from across the Criminal Justice System. Most importantly, you’ll share our commitment to delivering justice for the public we serve.
In return, you’ll receive an excellent remuneration package.
