The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is seeking to recruit to the post of Head of Legal Services to provide high quality legal advice and assistance to the School.

Legal services impact upon all areas of the School and all of its activities, including subsidiary companies. In particular, the post-holder will provide support for the legal aspects of contract preparation, negotiation, submission and approval.  The successful candidate will work with members of senior management and staff across the School to manage legal risk across a diverse remit.

Attention to detail is imperative and there are also tight deadlines to be met. The post-holder needs to be a flexible and highly capable lawyer with the ability to acquire new areas of specialism.

The post is on the School’s Professional Support Pathway salary at Grade 8, £52895 - £60,712 per annum.  The remuneration package includes annual leave of 30 days per annum and a defined benefit pension scheme.
