Assistant Solicitor, Asbestos, Personal Injury Department, Manchester, Ref: AS/PI/HA/June16

Driven by our recent successes in Personal Injury and as winners of the Personal Injury team of the year 2016, we are seeking to hire an Asbestos lawyer with over 5 years PQE relevant experience. This is a newly created role and the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to run a complex asbestos disease case load with minimum supervision.

The work involved is highly stimulating and demanding. It will ideally suit a solicitor who has an in-depth understanding of the spectrum of law under Asbestos Related Diseases combined with a first rate technical ability within Industrial Disease. We would welcome applications from those who are passionate about delivering justice to people who have been suffering / lost loved ones because of asbestos exposure.

The role involves the ability to manage a challenging and varied caseload to a consistently high level. This is a busy role and a high standard of performance is expected, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients. The successful applicant will have good IT, research, and problem solving skills and will be an effective communicator.
