Job Details

Freelance Court Reporter sought on a part-time basis for a short term contract. To suit a candidate with a legal qualification and experience in court reporting or legal journalism.

THE ROLE

  • To attend court hearings and take notes of oral judgments given in the courts of the Royal Courts of Justice and the Rolls Building in central London.
  • Produce a digest of the essential facts and law in a clear, concise and accessible format, meeting tight publication deadlines.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that the maximum number of hearings are covered.

ABOUT YOU

In addition to your qualification and relevant experience, you should possess strong communication skills and an eye for detail. Knowledge of/an interest in commercial law would be an advantage.
