Develop your legal career in the NHS! Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS community health providers in England, serving a population of about 1.4 million people across Kent and 600,000 in East Sussex and London. We are looking to recruit a Legal Property Manager to maintain an overview of the Trust’s estate. The postholder will assist the Head of Legal Services with lease assessments, and support all of our NHS services with property negotiation and disputes. This is an exciting post within an ambitious and supportive organisation, covering a large geographical area.

The postholder will assist in the management of the lease disposal and acquisition programme, negotiating heads of terms with landlords and tenants, liaising with surveyors and external solicitors and undertaking associated legal work under the supervision of the head of legal services as well as managing a property database and providing ad hoc property advice.

Within easy striking distance of London, our great locations in Kent mean that we have the best of British culture, coast and countryside on our doorstep.

From the sandy beaches of Margate and Broadstairs, to the breathtaking beauty of the North Downs, there’s always plenty of fresh air and wide open space to enjoy. Culture lovers are well catered for as our patch covers the World Heritage Site of Canterbury and also takes in the lively towns of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Folkestone and Ashford.

The bright lights of the capital are never far away, with high speed trains from many Kent towns including Ashford, Folkestone, Canterbury and Dover. All this plus great schools, easy access to France and continental Europe, and a lower cost of living than London!

We are one of the largest NHS community health providers in England, serving a population of about 1.4 million across Kent and 600,000 in East Sussex and London. We have more than 5000 members of our team including doctors, community nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians and many other healthcare professionals. We became a foundation trust on 1 March 2015 and we’re rated GOOD by the CQC.

Interviews will be held on 25th January 2017
