Solicitor

We are a busy, friendly, well supported legal team serving Worcestershire County Council in a beautiful and conveniently situated location in Worcester. We provide a high quality and well regarded service to our users and now need to recruit 1 childcare Lawyer immediately with prospects of further funding  for 1 or 2 more solicitors in the near future due to increased workload.

In addition a further solicitor post is required for maternity cover from April 2017 for up to a year. 

We are looking for a Solicitors or Barristers, preferably with significant experience as a child care lawyers. You will advise the Childrens’ Services Directorate about child protection and related matters.

Advocacy is an essential part of the job and you will appear in the Family Court before both lay magistrates and the judiciary on a regular basis.
