Childcare Lawyer - Brighton

Full service law firm with reach across Sussex is seeking to expand their busy Childcare team.

The firm firm boasts a strong local reputation and is seeking to expand Childcare Practice.

The role will involve handling a range of public child care matters involving acting for guardians at hearings related to hearings cases with a strong bias acting for child "guardians" in contested hearings involving Emergency Protection, Interim and Final Care Orders.

Previous experience of handling or assisting with a caseload representing parents, guardians and children in care proceedings involving Emergency Protection and Final Care Orders.

Ideally the Childcare Lawyer will be either a Legal Executive or Solicitor used running files and will be a skilled, confident advocate, has a good working knowledge of Legal Aid practices and procedures and can regularly undertake their own advocacy. Applications will be considered from less qualified childcare lawyers seeking to progress.
