Senior Commercial Lawyer / Solicitor (In House) - Cardiff
A leading financial services company based in South Wales (Cardiff) are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their small in house Cardiff team.
They are a really forward thinking organisation and it certainly is a great time to be at the forefront of all their activity and play a crucial part in the success of the business as they grow and expand.
The candidate will also need experience in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts. You will negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, some with multi-million pound value, while also advising on regulatory compliance, commercial risk and financial due diligence reports . You will support diverse teams across the business, compliance, HR, credit, Finance and IT teams, using your commercial acumen to spot issues and propose solutions.
They are looking for a 7+PQE Senior Commercial Lawyer who trained in a top tier national / regional law firm, in house experience is desired but not necessary. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to operate autonomously.
Previous exposure to the banking and finance sectors would be highly beneficial.
