Agricultural lawyer - Exeter

A leading regional firm is looking for a talented agricultural lawyer to join their team in Exeter. The has several offices in the south west and a great reputation in the region and is a member of the NFU legal panel for Devon and Cornwall.

You will be doing work with a wide range of clients (both regional and national) including farmers, landed estates banks, charities, investors and others. The role will involve assisting the team with large and complex matters as well as managing your own caseload, and will include a lot of direct client contact.

They are looking for a successful lawyer (all experience levels considered) with a good knowledge of, and experience in, agricultural work obtained at a good law firm. This should include an understanding of relevant European and tax issues related to agriculture and rural businesses. They also want excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and strong analytical skills.
