£19,283 - £20,466 per annum – (Inclusive of London Fringe Weighting) plus lease car allowance of £1,378
Based on 20 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister in the Council’s Legal Governance Section at the Forum in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of conducting civil and/or criminal litigation in the County Court and/or Magistrates Court, be able to work on his/her own initiative and give advice on a wide range of legal issues. A knowledge of housing, anti-social behaviour, licensing and environment related law would be an advantage; however, it is more important to have a fl exible, “can-do”, attitude and enthusiasm for learning new areas of Local Government law.

You will be joining a progressive Section with a good reputation for its service and commitment to staff and prospects for advancement.

A check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
