Civil Litigation Solicitor - Training Given In Contested Probate Matters

A highly rated Legal 500 listed law firm is experiencing a significant increase in instructions so it is keen to recruit a solicitor to deal with a varied caseload of civil litigation matters.

Based in the heart of Walsall, the firm is a longstanding and established practice and takes great pride in having met the needs of the wider community for decades. It has a well deserved, solid reputation as being the "go to" firm in the region.

The firm wishes to add a solicitor at NQ level right through to 3 years' PQE to its growing team. This is an interesting proposition that will provide a solid platform for swift progression in terms of your technical development. Initially, you will be tasked with handling a broad portfolio of civil litigation and property litigation matters to include claims such as nuisance, boundary disputes, building disputes and debt recovery cases. You will be required to hit the ground running and handle your own caseload from the outset.

In addition, you will also receive dedicated training from very experienced solicitors in dealing with contentious probate matters meaning that you can gain skills in a very specialist and growing area of law quickly. The team currently comprises 3 partners and 2 solicitors so you will have the benefit of being mentored by a team that has decades of combined experience in the sector.

The firm is offering a very competitive salary along with a fantastic benefits package which includes a holiday allowance of 26 days in addition to the office closing over the Christmas period. The bonus scheme is lucrative and provides for you to recoup a percentage of all fees generated in excess of your target. There is also onsite car parking available and the office is within walking distance of a host of amenities.

The firm promotes a very open and transparent culture and offers a friendly and supportive environment and the role offers the opportunity for both on and off site client interaction.
