Care Home Solicitor - 0-3years PQE

Our client is a market leader in the North in respect of Social, Public and Care Law. They are looking for a Solicitor with experience in recouping Care Home Fees for elderly vulnerable clients and their families.

The role will be to join a national, full service Legal 500 firm who are experts in this area of law. The role will be to provide advice to clients in respect of:

  • Reclaiming Care Home Fees wrongly pain
  • Assistance on applying for NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding
  • Appealing Assessments
  • Preparing Local Resolution or Independent Review Panel meetings after appeal
  • Complaints to the Health Service Ombudsman

You will also be required to provide general advice to Probate matters including LPA's Court of Protection, and Wills.

The right candidate will have around 1-3 years' knowledge of dealing with Care Home matters and experience of challenging decisions and drafting appeal submissions.
