The Business

Corporate risk and broking

We know how companies can unlock potential through effective risk management.  Our clients rely on us to craft strategies to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk, taking advantage of our specialist industry experience and unparalleled market know-how. The result is a new way of embracing risk that drives superior results.

The Role

Our Risk Management Practice is expanding its business and claims defensibility services which advises our clients on risk and the defensibility of injury claims.

This role is varied and will involve delivering an audit based service designed to assess our clients’ liability arrangements in identifying their ability to defend claims.  This involves making practical recommendations and working with our clients to implement measures in improving their defence prospects. We also provide an audit based service which involves auditing third party providers in the handling of claims on behalf our clients. Previous auditing experience in this area would therefore be desirable.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Conduct Risk: To put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business

The position will require you to participate fully in marketing activities and you should also be able to provide training courses along with being able to identify sales opportunities for our other business activities.

This is an excellent and challenging opportunity for you to be part of an expanding team in developing our range of services.  The successful applicant should be legally qualified and have strong experience in Personal Injury Law (e.g. EL/PL/Motor). Candidates from a Claimant/Defendant and risk management background will be considered in what is likely to be a very different role to anything you have experienced to date.

The role requires flexibility and UK travel. Geographic location is therefore not critical.

What can we offer you?

In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including; a fantastic pension scheme, life insurance, medical insurance, eye care vouchers and flexible benefits including critical illness cover, dental cover, additional life assurance, childcare vouchers, retail vouchers and many other options and Corporate deals.
