Banking & Finance Lawyer

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a banking & finance lawyer to work as a locum for a reputable client based in Central London. This will be an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to work within a Legal 500 law firm and experience a high quality caseload of banking & finance matters. It will require a solicitor who is not only commercially astute, but who has extensive experience within banking & finance.

The role will involve:

• A seven week position to start in July 2017
• Providing advice to UK lenders, businesses and entrepreneurs
• Corporate banking & finance
• Acquisition and leveraged finance
• Real estate finance
• General corporate banking
• ‘Bad book' restructurings and work outs

The caseload will be mixed therefore the individual must be able to handle varied responsibilities and duties within corporate banking & finance.

The successful candidate will have:

• 6 years PQE +
• Extensive banking & finance experience in a similar Legal 500 firm
• Be completely self-proficient, with good administrative and IT skills
• Experienced in progressing files using a case management system
