An NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 100 firm based in the centre of London. Salary offered is competitive.

Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join the expanding Clinical Negligence team. The department manages the full range of Clinical Negligence claims including birth injuries, cosmetic surgery claims, orthopaedic injury, ophthalmic, eye surgery and nursing care claims. The NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor will manage their own caseload from inception to completion; experience will determine the level of work managed in each case.

The successful candidate will include providing full support to the Clinical Negligence team and providing full and professional advice to the firm's major clients. The successful NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor will be from a claimant or defendant background and come from a firm of similar calibre. The candidate will have excellent academics and have strong drafting skills.

Daily duties will include: interviewing clients, reviewing medical records and preparing bundles of medical records including indexing the records, liaising with experts and clients, applying for public funding, instructing Counsel and issuing and pursuing court proceedings, preparing complaints to medical organisation and considering responses to complaints, undertaking risk assessment procedure and considering policy coverage for important insurance clients, and dealing with all forms of funding, including arranging cfas, before the event insurance, and public funding.

Applications are invited from Newly Qualified Solicitors with solid Clinical Negligence experience and/or have taken a Clinical Negligence seat in their training contract. Candidates will be considered from both claimant and defendant backgrounds.
