A Capital Markets Lawyer is required for a rewarding opportunity with a global law firm. The role will be based in Hong Kong and offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

Working closely with a renowned Corporate Partner you will be advising issuers and underwriters on initial public offerings on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK) and advising Hong Kong-listed companies and investment banks on takeovers, voluntary and mandatory general offers, rights issues, secondary placings, and convertible bonds. You will be part of a team of Lawyers who are staunchly loyal to the firm; I think you will find this an incredibly nurturing environment. My client is investing heavily in their Hong Kong office at present due to the volume of work coming into the teams here. This role will give the successful candidate fantastic Capital Markets exposure and if done right will raise your profile enormously. My client's Hong Kong office is well set up with a cohesive and hardworking team of Paralegals and Legal Secretaries too.

My client has left the brief pretty open here as they are really keen to see exactly what Capital Markets talent is out there so it is anticipated that you will be between 1 - 5 years PQE and equipped with full fluency in both English and Cantonese. Ideally you will be Hong Kong qualified but having said that I have to say my client would be curious to see the CVs of New York and Australian qualified Capital Markets Lawyers too. Finally, this role also demands that you are currently living and working in Hong Kong or indeed have some very recent experience of being here.
