Bindmans are recruiting for the following positions:

Locum Solicitor - Public Law Department - 12 month FTC
(ref: LocumSol-04/17)

We are recruiting a Locum Solicitor with public law, regulatory and human rights experience, with 2+ years PQE or equivalent.

The successful applicant will have strong public law experience in a range of areas and will carry forward and develop the caseload of an experienced solicitor taking maternity leave. There is also a possibility of the role becoming permanent on completion of the maternity cover.

The solicitor’s judicial review practice is varied and currently includes cases concerning: immigration detention; asylum support; care and support under the Care Act 2014 and Leaving Care Act 2000; eligibility for student finance; local authority cuts and servie funding decisions; decisions by the police and Disclosure and Barring Service on disclosure of information on criminal records certificates.The client base comprises individuals, charities and NGOs and a mix of legal aid, private and crowd funding.
