Job Details

Highly competent and able property solicitor with a suitable track record, is required to join a well-established, experienced In-house legal team serving a large property development and investment group.

Previous In-house exposure may be useful, experience of negotiating fixed legal charges and funding agreements in relation to property would be a distinct advantage.

It's a highly varied and diverse caseload and typically, the successful candidate will be involved and advising on; leasing of commercial property, negotiating property banking and finance documents, property acquisitions / disposals / joint ventures, legal aspects of property management, general property matters - break clauses, rent review memoranda, regulatory matters, taxation as it relates to real property (SDLT, ATED, VAT), planning agreements, wayleaves, easements, utility agreements, building contracts, professional warranties, sub-contracts, latent defect and professional indemnity insurance, and supply purchase terms and conditions.

You'll be a pragmatic, approachable and client facing solicitor with a genuine desire to work In-house. The business is based in a Cheshire suburb and offers genuine work life balance for a committed and dedicated property generalist.

We would imagine this position suiting someone with at least 5 years PQE, however we'd be keen to speak to anyone with a stellar commercial property background and a sincere ambition to work In-house. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
