THE ROLE
This is a key leadership role, responsible for providing a high quality legal service across the Woodland Trust, working collaboratively with other senior leaders across the organisation to provide appropriate and pragmatic advice on complex matters and support the Woodland Trust in its activities.
Working as part of the Senior Leadership Group, the Head of Legal Services will contribute to the development and implementation of the trusts strategies, policies and practices, supporting the success of the Trust and its objectives.
THE CANDIDATE
You’ll be an effective leader with substantial post qualified experience and knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements, intellectual property and probate law. You’ll be responsible for providing advice on governance and risk so you’ll need a working knowledge of identifying and managing risk within a commercial organisation
Successful at developing effective relationships you’ll be a strong communicator, able to influence at a senior level and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders raising the profile and scope of Legal Services provision.
