Each post is for a fixed term of 18 months

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is embarking on an ambitious and exciting programme of regeneration. Two experienced Senior Solicitors are required to support the Principal Solicitor- Commercial & property Projects in delivering a wide range of commercial and housing led regeneration schemes through a variety of delivery vehicles.

The successful candidates will be expected to handle a complex and high level caseload and must be able to manage a challenging, diverse and at times pressurised workload. Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they have a proven track record of delivering projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team. One of the successful candidates will be assigned to work on projects which will require the use of compulsory purchase powers the other successful candidate will be assigned to work on general company and property related projects.
