Job Details
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join an award winning firm based in Leeds and handle a niche area of law.
The role
Caseload will involve handling claims on behalf of individuals in relation to the repayment of nursing and care home fees that have arisen in cases where despite having a primary health care need, the resident and/or their families, have been refused NHS funding and have been required to pay for the care.
High volume caseload on behalf of clients as directed and in accordance with the firm's file management and supervisory policy.
The work will involve analysing and advising on strategy, tactics and how best to achieve a successful outcome for each claimant.
Will involve some travel as and when required.
The candidate
Our client believe that candidates that are between 0-3 years PQE will possess the correct skills and knowledge to succeed in this role, however this is just a guideline and candidates that fall outside of this bracket are encouraged to apply.
An excellent working knowledge of the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and associated practice guidance is desirable but not essential.
Ideally candidates will have a good basic understanding of Probate and Court of Protection
Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and be able to deal with clients in a sensitive, professional and competent way.
