Legal Assistant - Personal Injury - MOJ - Cardiff

A long-established and innovative organisation is seeking an MOJ Legal Assistant to handle all aspects of the MOJ portal & personal injury cases with full autonomy from start to finish.

You will be working with and developing alongside of a friendly and experienced team.

Duties to include:

• Process claims through the MOJ portal in personal injury cases in order to obtain appropriate compensation for clients
• Understand medical evidence, valuing claims and advising accordingly
• Contribute to the department’s revenue targets
• Handle a caseload of RTA MOJ portal cases including complex files

You’ll be managing your own case load and so you’ll need to be used to this with some personal injury experience or exposure.

Skills required:

• Experience of personal injury
• Knowledge of all MOJ portal stages
• Confidence to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) against a task list, with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage a caseload and work to deadlines
• Attention to detail and high accuracy
