Our client is a full service firm with an international client base and a network of offices. They are able to provide advice across a range of levels, thanks to an approach whereby individual teams are focused on understanding the specific goals of their client. The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a client-focused and driven Family Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Leicester area. Becoming part of a highly specialised team, the successful Lawyer will manage a full and varied caseload of matrimonial matters to include: divorce and financial remedies; separation; private law Children Act applications; pre and post-nuptial agreement and; cohabitation issues. The ability to undertake advocacy where necessary and effectively negotiate settlements are essential for the position. The ideal Lawyer will also participate in business development activities for the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Family department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of expertise encompassing family and children work.
You will be a confident advocate with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
You will have first class interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and professionals at all levels.
An aptitude for business development is essential.
You will be a team player with strong organisational and IT skills.
