Legacy Officer

We are working with a UK charity to find them a Legacy Officer. The role can be full of part-time, and will permit some working from home.

This current post holder will be leaving imminently, so a quick start is required. Applicants should be available immediately, or with a one week notice period at most.

Applicants will ideally have a Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration, or be qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive and possess good knowledge of Wills, Trusts, Tax and Probate.

The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of a legacy management programme, ensuring the efficient administration of all requests and by doing so optimising the value of legacies.

It is desirable that applicants are experienced in using First Class software in legacy administration, including analysing legacy reports created from First Class.
