nplaw has a number of vacancies for lawyers interested in commercial property work, planning law and compulsory purchase orders. The type of roles available will depend upon your areas of expertise and level of experience and can be tailored to suit your skills. We can offer you a wide and varied caseload with exposure to high quality work on some exciting new projects.

nplaw is a rapidly expanding public sector legal service advising local government, public bodies and charitable institutions. We work for clients across England and Wales as well as closer to home in Norfolk. Currently engaged on a number of high profile projects, we need the right people to join our busy teams in delivering the best possible service.

We can offer patterns of working to suit your lifestyle with full-time, part-time and flexible working available. Salary will be dependent upon your skills and experience and we may be able to offer relocation expenses.

nplaw provides a comprehensive property law service to all its clients. We have experience of transactions ranging from the sale of individual council houses to complex, multi-million pound commercial development agreements.

Our Planning and Environmental Law Team provides a wide variety of advice including drafting developer agreements, obtaining orders and notices, such as planning contravention notices, enforcement notices and stop notices, and giving legal advice on planning and highways matters.

We have one of the largest compulsory purchase order (CPO) legal practices in the UK. Our CPO consultancy service is currently working on more than 30 CPO projects for local authorities throughout England and Wales, including some major regeneration projects.

We support our staff by providing regular training sessions to ensure continuing competence and management training to help with career development. Our fully-qualified librarian ensures that fee-earners have access to excellent resources and our Professional Support Lawyer assists staff with research and training. Based at County Hall in Norwich, we have a shop and restaurant on site and work in newly refurbished offices.

There is easy access to Norwich city centre, known for its wealth of heritage, culture and shopping, and in Norfolk we enjoy more than 90 miles of unspoilt coastline, beautiful countryside, the unique Broads National Park, internationally important nature reserves, picturesque market towns and the fabulous seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Hunstanton.
