Private Client Tax & Trusts Solicitor

Our client is a recognised full service law firm based in Reading The practice is seeking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor (2+ years' PQE) to join the current team of 2 qualified fee earners.
 
The department is partner led and specialises in wills and tax planning, the administration of estates and trusts, and powers of attorney and court of protection work.
 
You will present with solid private client experience and the appropriate qualification(s).  
 
Experience of high street Tax & Trusts matters is essential.

A STEP qualification is attractive, although not essential.
Alternatively the firm will fund your working towards your STEP Qualification.
 
You will be picking up an existing caseload of work to include: 

• Wills
• Lifetime trusts and settlements
• Probate & Estate administration
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection Deputyship

The ideal person for this position will be commercially aware, ambitious and driven, and adept at marketing & business development.
 
In return for your hard work and dedication, the firm pays a competitive salary £35,000 - £45,000 + benefits package.
