Your new role
A junior corporate commercial role with good levels of responsibility, as part of a wider legal team. The role reports into the team's principal solicitor, and will involve negotiating and drafting commercial contracts within the energy sector, as well as supporting corporate transactions and advising on ad hoc data protection, IT security, company secretarial and disputes analysis. The position sits within a large team with a strong collective corporate skill set and a variety of PQE levels. You will regularly advise senior stakeholders on risk matters, and interact with the M&A, Finance, HR, Compliance and Disputes teams as a valued business advisor.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a 1-2 PQE UK qualified lawyer, with strong academics and training either with a reputable practice firm or large in-house organisation. You will have received excellent corporate commercial training, having honed your technical skills. In-house experience within a large organisation will be greatly valued. You will be an exceptional communicator with a team mentality, demonstrable business acumen and the desire to contribute to high quality commercial and corporate work within a reputable brand.
