Civil Litigation Paralegal

A Legal 100 firm is looking to recruit a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its nationally recognised Public Sector team in Leicester.

My client, who works on behalf of local authority and police forces nationally, defends claims such as false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and assault. As a Civil Litigation Paralegal, you will also be responsible for advising clients on civil orders, ASBO’s, Sexual Offences Prevention Orders, Proceeds of Crime Act applications and Domestic Violence Protection Orders.
 
You will have solid experience defending litigated claims as a Civil Litigation Paralegal, preferably those brought against the police. You will have strong advocacy skills, be a team player and have the confidence/gravitas to influence key decision makers.
 
Although this role will be based in Leicester, it will involve a secondment to the firm’s Guildford office so interested candidates must be willing to relocate for approximately 6 months'.
