Solicitor/CILEX/Licensed Conveyancer

My client is a leading regional law firm that is top 100 ranked. The highly respected Commercial Property team are currently looking to recruit an Associate to join the team in their established Milton Keynes and Luton office. The candidate will be newly qualified from a leading firm.

The team is ranked in the Legal 500 and is one of the leading commercial property teams in the South East. They operate across the entire range of property services. Based in the Milton Keynes and Luton offices, the successful candidate will enjoy a broad mix of work including experience of Landlord and Tenant transactional matters, some development related work and freehold, leasehold sales and acquisitions, business sales and acquisitions and secured lending.

The chosen Commercial Property Solicitor must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware. The firm is known for providing practical holistic commercial solutions.

Job role:
Generate fee income in accordance with agreed targets
Operate effectively within financial guidelines with regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures
Develop any agreed new services, as and when required
Participate in business development events
Supervise client matters and undertake regular file reviews
To keep knowledge and skills up to date and to comply with all training requirements required by the position

You will be a team player with a client focussed approach and able to demonstrate a willingness to be involved in business development activities. You should have accumulated experience of dealing with a caseload, under supervision. You'll also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
