Highly regarded, FTSE 250 plc based in North Yorkshire has an excellent opportunity for a banking/finance lawyer to join their high quality, in-house legal team.

Reporting into the Deputy General Counsel, in a highly visible role, you will provide sound legal advice across the group and in particular a range of finance and treasury led work including intra-group funding. There is also a strong element of capital markets work including commodity trading and other derivatives type transactions.

This role would suit a UK qualified Lawyer with around 2 -7 years PQE in banking or finance who is looking to make their first move into industry. It would be perfect for a candidate from this sort of background who wants to generalise their legal skills (i.e. into commercial) and someone who wants to be at the heart of the business. Candidates from a capital markets/ structured finance background would also be of interest. The client will also consider London relocaters to the region and will offer a relocation package.
