Your new company
A globally renowned energy, infrastructure and environmental services company, employing over 15,000 people in the UK. With magnificent London offices and a truly international ambience, this organisation has offices in multiple countries and enjoys a magnificent international reputation as a leader in its markets.
Your new role
A 4-days per week Senior Legal Counsel role, reporting into the Head of Legal for the company's facilities and services division. You will perform a largely autonomous, stand alone role, managing cross-jurisdictional facilities management work. The role will involve high value outsourcing and commercial agreements negotiation, advising the business on risk, and liaising with clients and colleagues a global scale. You will also advise on ad hoc intellectual property, data protection and anti-bribery matters, while liaising with senior stakeholders across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a mid-level UK-qualified commercial lawyer with significant cross-jurisdictional agreements experience. Ideally with private practice training from a reputable firm, you must have some degree of in-house experience and an ability to work autonomously. While facilities management outsourcing experience would be ideal, the client is happy to be flexible and consider candidates who have instead strong cross-border experience in other industries, and who are happy to adapt to a new sector. You will possess exceptional communication skills, strong technical ability and the experience to manage senior internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
What you'll get in return
The chance to work with a truly global powerhouse, and one of the largest foreign employers in the UK. You will have autonomy in your work, receive a competitive remuneration package and have the ability to engage in exceptional international work.
