Equal Pay Paralegal

An excellent opportunity with a reputable Local Authority in the West Midlands has arisen for a locum Employment Legal Assistant. The position will be for 3 months; however there is scope for it to continue dependent on the workload and needs of the organisation.
Duties are as follows:

· Working within a busy Equal Pay Team

· Validating and assessing equal pay grievances accurately and efficiently

· Inputting data in relation to equal pay grievances using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

· Managing equal pay enquiries via the equal pay helpline and mailbox

· Undertaking general office duties such as filling, photocopying and scanning

· Assisting the legal team with the preparation of settlement documents in relation to equal pay interim payments

It is essential for this role to have already completed and passed the Legal Practice Course and have previous administration experience to include the use of Microsoft Excel. There will be an Excel Test as part of the interview process.

The position offers an hourly rate of £9 - £11/hour dependant on experience.
