Our client is looking to appoint an 2-4yrPQE Solicitor who has background in a Top 100 or City firm, to be based in Newcastle where you'll handle top quality contentious matters in commercial disputes, banking and finance litigation. Much of the work is sourced from London, and frequently has an international edge to it, so the quality is high and thus this represents an exciting opportunity to gain this calibre of experience.

This team is highly rated, and offers a rare opportunity for a candidate looking to move out of London, or even for a candidate who in future might fancy transposing their skills into the City market from the North East. Suitable applicants must have a consistently strong academic record (minimum 2:1) and at least 1 year PQE (preferably longer) in quality Commercial Litigation with a rated team.

The firm has a good track record in engaging candidates from big firm backgrounds, and whilst they are not a national firm themselves they will aim to compete financially with the big firms in the North.
