Senior Litigation Legal Assistant

Paralegal / Legal Assistant with litigation experience required to join a leading law firm in Birmingham.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal or Legal Assistant with litigation experience to join a Defendant Insurance Team that deals with some of the most successful and influential business in the UK.

Your new role
You will provide a high quality legal service to clients on the full range of defendant insurance matters whilst supporting the senior fee earners administratively. You'll be dealing with all forms of liability, injury, motor, employer / public liability claims, including reporting to clients and adherence to SLA requirements. You will also be expected to deal with clients and third parties in a professional manner, maintaining close and regular contact as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience, ideally gained in contentious legal work. You'll also have experience of using a case management system with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike. You will have excellent organisation skills, highly enthusiastic and able to cope in a demanding environment.
