Child Care Solicitor (NQ to 4 years PQE)

Superb opportunity for a Child Care Solicitor – the role will appeal to a newly qualified or recently qualified solicitor.

As well as representing and advising parents and other family members in care proceedings, the team has long established links with local authorities, social services and cafcass etc and is regularly instructed to represent the interests of the child.

You will receive excellent mentoring and ongoing training. Typical instructions would include:

• Applications by a local authority for care and supervision orders 
• Applications for special guardianship orders 
• Applications for placement and adoption orders

Whilst the nature of this role is suitable for an NQ or recently qualified solicitor, it is essential to have previous experience of child care law proceedings.

The team prides itself on the excellent levels of service provided, ensuring strong and effective advocacy whilst maintaining a compassionate approach. You will support a number of partners and senior solicitors on their caseload whilst relishing the opportunity to develop your own case management and advocacy skills.
