We are keen to speak to senior partners who wish to enjoy the freedom of working collaboratively amongst fellow experienced peers within a high quality brand with the appetite and ambition to change the way that legal services are delivered to their clients. Our clients told us that hourly billing and time recording did the opposite – so we removed it. gunnercooke works with clients on a solely fixed fee basis.

The role

As part of our defined growth strategy, we are particularly keen to speak with senior partners who would enjoy working in a way that provides them freedom, flexibility and ultimately, enable them to build stronger relationships with their clients.

The candidate

We are looking for people who have the ability to take a step up, take control of your own destiny and redefine an industry. Technical balance is a must, but here you must also have an entrepreneurial instinct and be able to network, build and sustain client relationships.

Key technical attributes:

  • At least 10,000 hours practising experience in a leading law firm (national or international) however those from law firms outside of this are of course still encouraged to apply;
  • Business plan which can demonstrate a minimum billing capacity of £150k per annum;
  • Entrepreneurial flair and commerciality;
  • Passion for brilliant client service; and
  • Ambitious, looking to grow a practice and leave a legacy.
