Law Society Board Vacancy

The Law Society exists to represent, promote and support solicitors who practice in England and Wales, so they in turn can help their clients. We work to ensure that no-one is above the law and to protect everyone’s right to have access to justice. We promote England and Wales as the jurisdiction of choice and the vital role legal services play in our economy.

The Law Society is looking for an exceptional solicitor to join the Membership Board. You will join a talented team overseeing how we manage our relationship with the profession, to help make policy decisions about what services we provide for our members and others.

We need your skills, experience, connections, enthusiasm and knowledge. In exchange you will gain real board-level experience whilst knowing your input has made a real difference to solicitors in England and Wales. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

The Membership Board has one vacant co-opted seat to be held for two years. Applications are particularly invited from solicitors working in an in-house role.
