Salary: £31,697 to £41,787 per annum
The Clinical Negligence department at Legal and Risk Services, the in house legal team for NHS Wales based in Cardiff, require a full time solicitor for a fixed term period of 1 year. The post holder will undertake the case management of a range of clinical negligence matters from the initial letter of claim to settlement or trial under appropriate supervision and subject to experience.
Experience of Defendant clinical negligence is preferred but candidates with good knowledge and experience of complex personal injury matters will be considered.

Newly Qualified Defendant General Advisory & Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor (Full-time)
We are an in-house team based in Cardiff providing healthcare advice and handling litigation for NHS Wales.
We are looking for an enthusiastic solicitor to assist and provide support to the NHS Continuing Healthcare team and also assist in the provision of general advice to Health Boards in Wales and the conduct of defendant clinical negligence litigation.
Ideally, you should have some experience in the following areas:
- continuing health care;
- defendant clinical negligence;
- NHS general advisory work.
This post will be a 3 year contract (with possible extension) subject to satisfactory completion of probationary period.
