Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Senior Appointment

A very highly regarded Legal 500 listed and Chambers rated national practice is keen to appoint an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to its growing Commercial Litigation Team which is based at the firms' Birmingham city centre office.

This firm is renowned as a specialist in the healthcare sector and is proud of its long association with the NHS, the Department of Health, independent healthcare providers and charities, as well as medical defence insurers and regulatory bodies. The Commercial Litigation Team specialises in providing support to key clients and, due to the nature of the firms' core client base, you will deal with litigated matters with a bias towards competition and procurement issues. As well as this, there will also be exposure to regulatory matters and challenges to how any regulatory frameworks have been utilised. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years' PQE and you will have gained experience dealing with public sector and/or third sector clients and it would be helpful if you have commercial litigation experience emanating around regulatory and public sector bodies.

This role is different as you will be afforded the freedom to advance within the team, particularly as you will join the team in a senior capacity to begin with. You will also be able to further develop your leadership qualities by being a technical referral point to more junior team members whilst at the same time having significant input into how the team will grow.

This role will allow you to have direct involvement in shaping how healthcare providers operate so it will be very rewarding for those who have a genuine interest in the healthcare sector. Likewise, this position is a world away from dealing with corporate entities at a more commercially focused practice.

On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package which includes a lucrative bonus scheme and a generous holiday allowance. There are an abundance of progression and development opportunities on offer as well so this is a rare chance to join one of the sectors' leading and most dynamic firms which is proud to boast a supportive and collaborative environment.
